See Beyonc Wear a Sparkling Recreation of Her "Crazy In Love" Music Video Look

Beyoncé's latest onstage ensemble for the Renaissance Tour channels one of her most iconic looks, twenty years later.

Yesterday, the superstar took the stage in NYC while dressed in a luxe recreation of the opening look from the music video for her 2003 solo debut, "Crazy in Love." The new ensemble was comprised of a silver tank top and high-waisted denim hot pants, both entirely covered in sparkling sequins. Rather than stepping out in the classic red pumps, the singer elevated the look by adding a pair of thigh-high metallic boots, adorned in silver sequined fringe.

She completed the look with a pair of large, diamond chainlink earrings, as well as a pair of dainty silver bracelets and a silver metallic manicure.

Throughout the world tour, Beyoncé has taken to social media to share her custom onstage ensembles, courtesy of luxury brands including Alexander McQueen, Schiaparelli, Balmain, Fendi, and Ferragamo among others.

Before releasing seventh studio album Renaissance last July, the international pop icon teased the record in an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s September 2021 cover story.

“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible,” she said. “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”
