JoJo Siwa reveals meaning behind first tattoo but fans are left wondering

It looks like JoJo Siwa got her first tattoo over the weekend, as she headed to the studio with Raven-Symoné and wife, Miranda Maday. The star has now revealed the meaning behind her ink, and it’s actually pretty cute.

The star has grown up on TV, making her onscreen debut when she was just 9 years old. Although it may be hard for some fans to believe, she’s now 20 years old, and as she gets her first inking, we look into JoJo Siwa‘s deep meaning behind her tattoo decision, and why some fans are still left wondering.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, JoJo’s celebrity friend Miranda Maday posted a black and white photo of the Dance Moms star lying on the bed with a smile and clenched teeth, as the artist holds the needle near the back of her ear.

In the caption, Miranda wrote: “bb’s first tattoo,” while tagging the artist, @liqfromthewood.

JoJo wasn’t the only one getting some new ink, as Raven, who recently revealed she had ‘psychic visions’ was up next in the hot seat.

However, even her wife has lost count of how many designs the Disney alum has on her body, as she captioned the pic: “Bb’s too many to count tattoo.”

Raven’s latest, however, appeared to be on her forearm.

The meaning of JoJo Siwa’s new tattoo

Taking to her Snapchat, JoJo revealed the design to her fans, the number 1031 written down the back of her ear.

In true Siwa style, she explained her reasoning to her dedicated fans, also there’s one piece of info she decided to leave out, for now. In a Snapchat video, she wrote:

“I’m obsessed. The official meaning is 1031, how many days my first concert lasted, but then 03 is the year that I was born so that’s why it looks like 03 with the lines on the side…

3 is a very significant number but I can’t say why yet,” the TikTok star continued.

Of course, fans are trying to guess what it may mean as one wrote: “Does the three mean something related to music? Or maybe a date for music release…. Idk honestly.”

The Dance Moms star once had a rib ‘tattoo’

Some fans may be surprised to see JoJo getting her first tattoo, as a few months ago, the 20-year-old sent her fans into a frenzy when she showed off her ‘rib tattoo.’

Many were trying to work out what the writing on her ribs said, at the time, as one claimed it said: “Life’s an hourglass glued to the table,” from the song Breathe.

The tattoo turned out not to be permanent after all, but there’s definitely no confusion about this one.
