Timothe Chalamet flustered over talk show lineup as fans pray 'he stays humble'

Timothée Chalamet may be “Hollywood’s hottest young star” in Graham Norton’s words, but it doesn’t mean that he won’t get flustered sitting on a coach alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. During Friday night’s Graham Norton Show episode, Timothée found himself in awe of the whole experience.

As the four famous faces sit down on Graham’s couch, the host tells the audience: “What a sofa! You got lucky.” He sits down to interview not only Timothée but Cher, and movie stars Julia Roberts, and Tom Hanks, this December.

Timothée Chalamet gets flustered

Timotheé Chalamet is landing all kinds of great movie roles lately as he transforms into Willy Wonka and is set to play a young Bob Dylan in a new Hollywood film.

The 27-year-old was asked if he had met Bob Dylan, to which he replied that he “hadn’t, but didn’t want to put any pressure on it in any way.”

Timothée added that he’d just seen Bob Dylan live and that the concert was “magical, and brilliant.”

Cher reveals that she knew Bob Dylan back in the day and when a photo of her with him is shown on screen, Graham notices a resemblance between Timothée and Bob.

Totally flattered, the actor says that he’s “blown away by the photo.”

He adds: “This whole talk show has been a trip… Tom’s talking about gravity, I’m up here with Cher and Julia Roberts.”

Timothée talks ‘Imposter Syndrome’

As Timothée was introduced on The Graham Norton Show series 31, the host explains that he’s currently enjoying the world premiere of his new movie, Wonka.

When talk turned to his first “real movie,” Intersellar, Timothée deflected the conversation away from himself and said: “By the way, I’m totally happy to sit up here and listen. I feel major Imposter Syndrome up here, so you don’t have to turn it to this.”

Cher also pitched in with some humbleness adding that she doesn’t listen to her own music or watch herself in movies: “I’m not a Cher fan.”

Fans hope actor ‘stays humble’

With such big stars on the Graham Norton couch, it wasn’t just Timothée who was in awe of the lineup.

One person commented on a clip from the show: “Although he’s a big star and he’s Oscar-nominated himself, it just be weird sitting next to three Oscar-winning legends like this.”

Another said: “I wouldn’t be able to speak with Hollywood’s finest sitting there” when it came to the couch’s “star power.”

One wrote: “Timothy Chalamet is no slouch himself when it comes to star power.. may he stay humble.”
