Dua Lipa's Bedazzled Sailor-Collar Sweater Is One of the Year's Coolest Celeb Looks
We can always count on Dua Lipa to deliver a statement-making outfit. For her latest, she put an unexpected spin on a classic winter wardrobe staple.
On Wednesday, the “Dance the Night” singer made a spectacularly stylish appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Working with her longtime stylist Lorenzo Posocco, Lipa pulled a fabulously low-key look from Gucci’s Spring 2024 runway.
The centerpiece of the outfit was a navy blue ribbed knit sailor-collar sweater, which featured large glossy buttons down the V neckline and—most notably—reflective silver crystals in neat rows all along the broad collar. To coordinate, she paired the sparkling look with bulbous silver earrings, and finished off the ensemble with barrel jeans in a dark blue wash, a black belt bearing Gucci’s double G logo, and glossy leather slingback pumps in a blood-red shade.

Fans of Lipa’s style are presumably well acquainted with the Grammy winner’s ability to pull off nearly any fit—whether that means putting a twist on a casual denim look or bringing the glamour to red carpet events.

Gilded gold bones were embroidered onto the bodice in the shape of a skeleton, a detail that perfectly coordinated with her diamond-encrusted gold and platinum Tiffany & Co. necklace.
